Strong Arm Robbery at TJ Maxx

On Thursday, September 20, 2018, deputies responded to the TJ Maxx located at 6230 N. Oracle Road for the report of a strong arm robbery. Upon arrival, deputies learned two male suspects entered the store and loaded $400.00 worth of merchandise into a shopping cart and tried to leave without paying. Loss prevention personnel confronted the suspects and tipped the shopping cart over in an attempt to stop them from leaving the store. One of the suspects pushed the loss prevention officer, then picked up some of the items off of the floor and exited the store with approximately $100.00 worth of merchandise. The first male suspect is described as: • Hispanic male, approximately 25 to 35 years old • 5’7” to 5’9” in height, medium build, bald • Last seen wearing a dark colored U of A sweatshirt, dark shorts, and white tennis shoes The second male is described as: • Hispanic male, approximately 25 to 35 years old • 5’7” to 5’9” in height, thin build, shaved head • Last seen wearing a plaid shirt, black jeans, and white tennis shoes
